From the guys that brought you the Hopscotch Bar comes Canberra’s “friskiest” establishment!
Located on Gungahlin Hibberson Street, Young and Frisky aims to create a casual and fun dining experience for locals and visitors alike.
The inspiration behind Young and Frisky is that of southern USA food. Specialising in beautiful fried chicken, Young and Frisky uses state of the art pressure fryers to give it’s chicken that famous crunch. The chicken can be bought in buckets with 6 to 50 pieces of succulent frisky goodness. Not to mention they also have an array of incredible dipping sauces. Some of which will blow your socks off with scores of over 90,000 on the Scoville scale.
The name Young and Frisky is derived from the classic Australian slang for “whiskey,” one of the speciality drinks served at the bar. Behind the bar they have an amazing range of exotic whiskeys from around the world. They come on the rocks, neat or mixed with your favourite soft drink. The bartenders can even whip up some Frisky Cocktails including a range of three different espresso martinis!
Entertainment is also in high supply at Young and Frisky! Live music, sport and DJ’s are always bringing the good vibes to Young Frisky.
