Do you operate segway tours?

  • * Time Out Adventures & Entertainment is a sales, marketing and booking agent for Segway Operators that provide rides and tours to the public.  Time Out Adventures is not the operator of these Segway Experiences.
  • *If you require changes to your booking, please contact us and we will facilitate this change for you.  Fees may apply
  • * The Segway Participant acknowledges and agrees that, upon accepting a Segway experience booking through Time Out Adventures and Entertainment, they Acknowledge that Segway Riding is a dangerous recreational activity within the meaning of the Civil Liability Act (Qld, NSW & Vic) and involves a significant risk of injury, harm or damage and the participant accepts this risk when accepting the booking. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian accepts this Risk on your behalf.
  • * Time Out Adventures & Entertainment will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage incurred or suffered by the participant during the Segway Experience.
  • * By accepting a booking for a Segway Experience through Time Out Adventures and Entertainment, the Participant and guardian releases and forever holds Time Out Adventures & Entertainment, their servants, agents and employees harmless from any and all injury, harm or damage, cost, expense or loss including consequential loss suffered by or caused to the Participant or to others as a result of the Participants use or operation of the Segway and or as a result of accepting this booking no matter what the cause or where such injury, harm or damage arises and;
  • * By undertaking a Segway Experience booked through Time Out Adventures & Entertainment, the Participant and the guardian will not threaten to make, make, commence, file or bring any demand, claim, court proceedings, application or suit concerning the Segway Experience, rescheduling a booking or any event arising out of either against Time Out Adventures, their servants, agents or employees and if they do then they will indemnify the owners, directors, their servants, agents or employees for and against any order, judgment, decision or decree of the court and the owner’s legal costs and any costs of a court ordered against the owner on the indemnity basis.

Are you open to the public?

We are an independent company that operates at many resorts in Australia and we are therefore open to the public to ensure everyone is able to enjoy our services.

Do you provide activity packages for birthday parties?

We most certainly do.  We have an exciting range of birthday party packages that include Segways, Ozbobbles, Laser Clay, Action Zone, Bopping Heads and more!

We are completely mobile so you can either come out to one of our resort locations or we can come to you.  Simply call us to find out more information.

What is the best way to book an activity with Time Out?

By far the easiest way is via our automated self help web site.  We have a complete booking system that will show you the exact price depending on the size of your group, what days the activities are available and the times they operate.  You will receive booking confirmations and reminders as well.

You are also most welcome to call us on 1300 090 767 to make a booking over the phone or email us.

Do I need to pre-pay for my activity?

Yes you do.  As many of our activities have limited spaces, when you book and pre-pay for it, you are guaranteed that your spot is reserved.  You can pay by Visa or Mastercard.

What is your cancellation policy?

Generally speaking, for cancellations greater than 48 hours notice we will gladly provide a full refund with the exception being any pre-paid vouchers/promotions which are subject to the terms and conditions of the voucher/promotion. For cancellations within 48 hours, no refund will be given.  Please check each activity to confirm the exact policy for that activity.

What is your refund policy for ‘no shows’, or if you cancel an activity?

Generally speaking, we will notify you if one of our activities is cancelled due to extreme weather (some activities still operate in rain) or minimum numbers not being met and offer an alternate date and time. If one is not available we will gladly provide a full refund with the exception being any pre-paid vouchers/promotions which are subject to the terms and conditions of the voucher/promotion.

If you don’t show up to your activity no refunds will be given or if you are running late for the activity and no prior arrangements have been made, unfortunately you will not be able to participate in the activity and no refunds will be given.

Team Building FAQ

Where do you run your team building activities?

We currently run our team building activities in many locations around Australia in particular New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria as we have several bases in these locations.  That said, we are completely mobile and we will travel anywhere, anytime to infuse some fun and adventure into your group, just contact us for more details.

Can you tailor a team building package to suit my requirements?

We have a large range of indoor, outdoor, day, night and themed team building activities and we are confident that one of them will meet your needs and desired budget.  That said; we love creating new programs and can tailor any of our existing programs to your requirements or if there is something specific you have in mind we will collaborate with you to create a new one to ensure we leave your group with a truly memorable experience.

What group sizes can you handle?

We can handle any size group? We have a unique range of team building activities that work with small groups of 6 right up to groups of 300 plus. We can also tailor many of our activities to meet your group size, simply call us and one of our friendly staff will help design a program that is perfect for your requirements.

Can you provide team building activities and entertainment?

Most certainly.  The reason why we created our entertainment division was because our clients were not only organising a team building activity, but were also tasked with finding some unique entertainment for their gala dinner.  We are pleased in that we can provide a one-stop-shop for our clients.  Feel free to call us to discuss your requirements, we are more than happy to assist.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

We will try to be as flexible with any changes you may have prior to your event.   If you need to cancel your event and it is more than 14 days from the scheduled date and you choose not to reschedule it, we reserve the right to retain 25% of the total fixed price amount or

If you choose to cancel your event and it is less than 14 days from the scheduled event and you choose not to reschedule it we reserve the right to retain 60% of the total fixed price amount or

If you choose to cancel the event on the day for any reason including weather, we reserve the right to retain 100% of the total fixed price amount.

Entertainment FAQ

What can you do for my product launch and upcoming trade show?

We have a range of exciting services we can offer.  We have various unique entertainment options that will draw crowds to your booth such as Digital Air Graffiti Wall or Pocket Flipbooks or there is interactive entertainment using our QuizXpress system that can be deployed as a competition style option to engage with your audience, capture critical data on potential customers and create a unique experience for them whilst at your booth.  Feel free to call us and together we will collaborate to come up with an option that meets your requirements and budget.

I am organising a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, can you help?

We most certainly can!  We have provided hundreds of entertainment services for Bar / Bat Mitzvah’s in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.  We have a unique and exciting range of option that are guaranteed to create a truly memorable experience for your guests.

I am organising a wedding, can you help?

We most certainly can!  Our clients expect something different for their special day and our fun and exciting entertainment options do just that and more!  We don’t provide plain photo booths, instead we provide Magic Photo Studios or we go one step further and allow you to create a work of art of your photo on our Digital Make Over Wall (Air Graffiti). We have a unique and exciting range of options that are guaranteed to create a truly memorable experience for your guests.
